I grew up in post-communist Romania and lived there until 2010
I'm a proud US citizen. I believe America's best days are ahead of it!
I've been programming since I was ~7 (first languages were FoxPro and Turbo Pascal)
A lifetime ago, I was really into programming competitions. I won a gold medal at IOI, and was a finalist in the ACM World Finals and TopCoder Collegiate Challenge.
A TV show in Romania called "Surprise Surprise" gifted me a free car (video in Romanian)
I co-founded and sold two startups
I built engineering teams in social (Clubhouse & Twitter) and crypto (Coinbase & Novi)
Besides building products, I love supporting startups
